There and back again

Well, the journey through the wilderness for our family has begun. I made the solitary trek from Grover to Sheridan two weeks ago. The road was long and full of anticipation. Anxiety fueled me through the first week. Jackson Electric is a real mans job. There has been little orientation, it's a learn as you go job. For instance, the truck they gave me (see picture above) was low on gas. I asked the apprentice,"where do I go to get gas?" The Holiday station or the Coop he answered. I chose the Holiday (better goodies). So I pump the gas into my ford 3/4 ton with a v-10 Triton, and go in to charge the fuel. The gal at the counter (assistant manager) looked at me like I was green. I was handed a phone and had to call Alecia (the Secretary whose name I get wrong every time) for help. You need a card for that, she said, do I have one? no. The shop Foreman thought that was so funny.
The work I have done so far has been right up my ally, and I worry less about being able to hang in there.
I was given Monday off work so I could could make the Marathon home to sign papers on our Grover house and pick up a load of stuff to move back. Well its late and I have an early wake up so bye for now.
